Luxury Cars: The all-new Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon takes driving to the next level while offering all the luxuries you've come to expect from Cadillac. As Cadillac's first-ever North American wagon, the 2010 CTS was designed to offer the cargo space of an SUV with the compactness of a sedan. The Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon is based on the popular CTS Sport Sedan and features a dramatic design that leaves yesterday's wagon in the dust. On the outside, the wagon is essentially the same size as the sedan, yet its carrying capacity is nearly doubled. Unlike the traditional wagon, the roof load management system blends with the roofline, creating a subtle fin effect at the trailing edges of the rear panels. Inside the CTS, the rear cargo area offers an integrated cargo management system that stows neatly under the floor when not in use. With powertrains that provide direct injection technology, the wagon puts off lower emissions and maintains fuel economy with an estimated 28 mpg on the highway. The CTS comes standard with a 270 horsepower 3.0L DI V-6 engine, and unlike many comparable engines, it operates efficiently on regular unleaded gas. A 3.6L DI V-6 engine with 304 horsepower is also available, with the added option of all-wheel drive. Both engines are backed by GM Hydra-Matic six-speed automatic transmissions.
The wagon's interior features streamlined instrumentation, LED lighting, an integrated center stack design available in either a satin metallic finish or genuine Sapele Pommele wood, and a center console that provides a sportier "cockpit" feel. Add the optional heated and ventilated seats, which incorporate "thin-seat" technology, for maximum comfort and enhanced leg room.If you're in the market for a luxury vehicle that is as functional as it is sleek, Cadillac's new take on the wagon is an ideal choice. So, it's time to say goodbye to the wood-paneled wagon of the past and say hello to the 2010 CTS Sport Wagon
